December igen…

December again…

How incredibly fast a year goes by. It’s Christmas again, and we’ve been selling rugs for a full year now. And what a year it has been.
I like to sum up different periods of time in a few—hopefully well-chosen—words, and this time is no exception. This first Hyltarp year can be summarized as follows.

Laughter, nervousness, sore muscles, satisfaction, conversations, lessons learned, and joy.

When I look back, I do so with a smile. Despite a few setbacks in the form of delivery errors, issues with shipping companies, delays, and misunderstandings, I still smile broadly. It has been a fantastic year filled with so many activities and experiences. I’ve tried to soak in every moment when we’ve been out at different events—they pass by so quickly.

In Gothenburg, we had the chance to really connect with our amazing team riders, while long-time horse friends appeared from near and far. Horse memories blended with conversations about future dreams.
In Herning, we loved the warm, friendly atmosphere and the feeling of people flowing between arenas and exhibition halls. Such a welcoming reception from everyone—our only challenge was all the numbers in Danish.
Wonderful Falsterbo, where we enjoyed equestrian sport mixed with Swedish summer. Here, we truly had time to talk to everyone who stopped by, and in the evenings there was full speed ahead.
Oslo left us wanting more. Such lovely Norwegians visiting our stand, and such closeness to the sport. This event really felt personal.
The circle closed in Stockholm at Strawberry Arena. This is where everything began last year, and now we were back. What a success—and with great pride, we were this year honored to sponsor the victory rugs for the various classes. From the smallest Shetland pony gallop to dressage classes, eventing, and show jumping. We are so grateful for all the wonderful feedback we received on our fleece, GRETA. Thank you!

Now it’s time to look ahead to new opportunities and goals. In January, I’m traveling to India for product development and ideas for new products. The best job in the world.

Finally, I want to say a huge thank you to our customers, partners, suppliers, followers—and above all Malin and Oscar. Without all of you, there would be nothing.

A very MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR
