Falsterbo 2025

Falsterbo 2025

We’ve just wrapped up 10 days in Falsterbo, and I can safely say I’m completely exhausted – but at the same time incredibly happy. The words that come to mind as I sit here and try to reflect on this year’s edition are gratitude, people, laughter, the cabin, rain, sunshine, gusts of wind, earwigs, show jumping, and dancing.

All of us who were in our beloved Hyltarp tent – myself, Malin, Lina, and Klara – felt so grateful for all the meetings and conversations with hundreds of horse lovers. We talked about everything from this year’s foalings, blankets that fit or don’t fit, material choices for stable interiors, competition successes and setbacks, to cherished childhood memories with horses. Everything had its place.

We also laughed an incredible amount. Silly videos that never made it to Instagram, the crowding in our little rented cabin, funny incidents, and that kind of laughter that comes when you’re so tired you can’t take another second.

The weather was mixed – like a typical Swedish summer – and brought some challenges, like when a blanket rack took off in the gusty winds (luckily it didn’t hit anyone). Thankfully, the sun and warmth showed up for a few days too, allowing that true Falsterbo feeling to settle in. And so did the entire earwig family, sneaking into pretty much everything we brought with us.

We also got to enjoy some amazing show jumping, where several of our team riders performed brilliantly – and we even got to witness another Swedish victory in the Nations Cup. A cocktail that was topped off with joyful dancing at Thursday’s White Party. What a perfect mix.

Now, a few days after everything’s been unpacked and order is restored in the warehouse, I can sum up this year’s Falsterbo – Hyltarp’s first – as a great success. So many visitors stopped by our tent after seeing us on social media, and it was the perfect opportunity to finally show them our products in real life. Meeting existing customers and hearing their kind words – as well as their suggestions for improvements – only left me with an even stronger sense of purpose.

So I return to the first word that came to mind: gratitude.
Thank you for letting me do all this and be a part of this world of horses – together with you!
